Used since ancient times for a variety of ailments, chamomile aids in treating many digestive disorders especially ones caused by stress, such as IBS & nervous stomach as it is also calming to the mind due to its mild sedative actions.

    Ginger: Spicy, pungent, warming and aromatic ginger has been use as a food and medicine for thousands of years. Its stomachic, carminative, anti-inflammatory and anti-nausea actions aids in treating many digestive conditions, such as gut pain, peptic ulceration, cramping, colic, flatulence, loss of appetite and nausea.

    Fennel: Used since ancient times fennel has a long history of use as both a food and medicine. This beautiful aromatic seed is calming to the gut and aids in treating IBS, colic, flatulence, gut spasms, griping pains & nausea

    Meadowsweet: One of the 3 herbs held most sacred by the druids and played a role in the development of Aspirin. Today meadowsweet is used to treat disorders of the upper digestive tract, such as indigestion, reflux & gastric ulcers.  

    Mandarin Peel: In Traditional Chinese Medicine its principal function is to regulate the movement of Qi, and works on the lung, stomach and spleen meridians. Today it is used as a carminative, aromatic digestive and to enhance digestion. It also brings a warming, elegant citrus note to the Happy Gut tea blend.
